Actively prevent low tire pressure from turning your trip from an enjoyable
journey into a nightmare. Low tire pressure is the leading cause of
excessive heat build-up — and that’s the single greatest cause of tire problems.
With the PressurePro Tire Pressure Monitoring System, you’ll know about low tire pressure
before a serious problem occurs.
A major
concern to my wife and I is to avoid a tire blowout. In the case of a car tire
blowout, the consequences can be anywhere from startling to disastrous. In the
case of motorhomes or converted buses, the consequences are multiplied
significantly. In addition to the horrors of a possible accident, a blowout of
the size tires we use can do significant damage to our home on wheels! It is
just something we should do everything in our power to avoid.

The
precision pressure sensors constantly read the tire pressure and
can detect even small changes in the pressure of your RV's tires. Wireless
signals are transmitted to a driver-friendly monitor panel showing the precise
tire pressure of each RV tire. The PressurePro Tire Pressure
Monitoring System can monitor all types of RVs and towed vehicles - up to 16
wheel positions and reads tire pressures up to 150 PSI. When your tire pressure
monitoring system discovers a low-pressure condition, you receive both a visual
and audible alert.
Your
tire pressures are constantly monitored, while moving or parked.
The
tire pressure monitoring sensors "read" up to 100 ft. from the Monitor and the
tire pressure sensors have an expected battery life that is approximately 3
years (miles driven and system use affects battery life). Installation of the
Sensors does not affect your tire balance and routine RV tire rotations are
effortless. The sensors are cleverly pre-coded with a specific ID code to
protect your investment. There are 24 million codes available for security and
accuracy.
Simple
Installation. Reliable tire pressure monitoring. Both are key. To install your
tire pressure monitors, simply replace existing valve caps with PressurePro
sensors and place the Monitor in a convenient location near the
driver of the RV. With a sensor on each RV wheel and the Monitor power cord
plugged into a standard 12-volt receptacle, tire pressure monitoring is
effortless. You continually monitor the air pressure in every tire on
your RV. You can see exactly which tire is losing air, and how fast air is
lost, allowing time to stop to refill or repair before it’s too late.
While the monitor
comes with a small antenna to pick up the sensor signals, our experience is that
you will probably need to use a remote antenna in larger motorhomes - especially
if they have a significant amount of metal in the structure. The antenna
can usually be mounted in the interior of the motorhome. In commercial
truck applications the antenna is mounted under the frame towards the rear of
the truck. That would also be an ideal location on a motorhome.
Echo
Repeater Antenna

This
optional accessory was created specifically for increased signal reliability.
For instance, if you have a Metal Skin RV and/or have an application over 55
feet, you may benefit from this product.
Easily
installed in the rear interior of the RV, the RV Echo Repeater ensures a strong
and reliable signal to the display in larger RV configurations.
Requiring 12 volt power, the slim Echo Repeater is about the size of a dollar
bill.
